The Project aims at enhancing food securityand nutrition through pumping of water fromRiver Daua to Irrigate 606Ha of land in threephases. The project is funded by ManderaCounty Government.The Construction for Koromey irrigationproject was contracted to Ahqab Co Ltd.Construction works commenced on 20th May2019 and to be completed on 21st April 2020(phase one). Subsequently commencementof Phase two and later phase three to end21st May 2021 and 21st May 2022 phase twoand three respectively. The project shallbenefit about 200HH or 2000 persons fromthe vulnerable Koromey community
