We are gathered here once again to mark this important National Day in ourcalendar to commemorate and appreciate our national heroes and patriots whoparticipated in development of our great nation. From the great sacrifice madeby our founding fathers in the fight for our liberation and independence to allthe great men and women who have contributed to nation building in post independence Kenya.I wish to recognize, all who have continued to work hard to contribute to therealization of the transformative agenda of Turkana County Government. Theyinclude all public servants who continue to discharge their duties to the publicdiligently, the private sector players and the business community that havepartnered with us to transform the lives of our people.
